A Sindhi Festival was organised by Sindhi Circle in collaboration with Alumni Association on 24th & 25th Jan 2018 at Jai Hind College in the campus , Auditorium & A V Center.

A National Seminar on the topic “Role of Youth in Promotion of Sindhi Language “was organised under the auspices of the the NCPSL cell of the HRD ministry representing the literary component of the festival. Papers were presented by eminent personalities such as Ms Namrita Bhavnani, Ms Simran Ahuja , Ms Menka Shivdasani, Ms Saaz Aggarwal , Mr Deepak Keswani , Ms Anju Makhija & our own student Ms Harsha Balani.

The Inter collegiate dance & drama competition titled HOJAMALO saw 5 teams from prominent colleges in Mumbai compete for the coveted rotating trophy. The competition was very tough & at the end the Jai Hind team was declared the winner by the panel of judges.

The Sureeli Shaam event brought a melodious end to the two day festival. Our Alumnus Atul Khatri made the audience roll with laughter & Kajal Chandiramani the Nightingale of the Sindhi community rocked.

During the 2 days of the festival a Sindhi bazaar was set up in the campus with stalls serving & selling traditional Sindhi delicacies & other items characteristic of the community.
The enthusiastic participation of the youth in every aspect was the promising note on which the festival ended.
